Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said that the International Conference on Global fight Against
Terrorism held in Tehran challenges the Western world.
Foreign Minister Salehi made the remark in a special press conference with IRIB's Channel Two late Sunday.
'Although terrorism has always existed since the beginning of the world, the Western countries and their media play around with terrorism by using beautiful words,' he added.
Referring to the fact that legitimate defense is used for legitimate goals and is a humanitarian affair, Salehi said that the Western countries have focused on their domination in the world through propagating Islamophobia in the world.
'Islamic Republic of Iran is trying to enlighten the world by holding the conference on global fight against terrorism,' the foreign minister further said.
